Assignment & statuses
Every conversation gets an owner and an open / pending / closed state. Unread counts per teammate, so nothing falls through the cracks.
Customer profiles & tags
Country, first contact, message count and full thread history per customer. Color-coded tags like vip, refund or wholesale, searchable across the directory.
No 24-hour window
Unlike WhatsApp, bots on the official Telegram Bot API can free-form reply at any time. Telinbox embraces that — no template gymnastics, no closed-window errors.
Media handled
Photos, voice notes, documents and stickers land in the thread with graceful fallbacks — a support inbox that only does text is not an inbox.
Tokens encrypted at rest
Bot tokens are sealed with AES-256-GCM; what you see afterwards is a fingerprint. Webhooks are registered with a secret token and verified on every delivery.
Mock mode & self-check
Demo the entire flow without a real bot via MESSAGING_DEMO_MODE, then flip one env var to go live. A system-check page verifies PHP, HTTPS, webhook and worker.

No Docker required, no external services. A clean VPS and a domain are enough.

- @BotFather — create the bot, copy the token
- Settings → Telegram Bots — paste it. That's it.
Upload the package, set .env, run migrations. SQLite works for a demo, MySQL for production.
